Ok, your looking at the right guide to 99 defence if your looking for any level in particular. This guide is for P2P members only altough some creatures and NPC's are F2P. Hope you enjoy Very Happy

We're going to start off with level 1 and then goes to 99. Hope it helps...

---------------

1-10, Start killing CHICKENS. This would be handy if you only have 1-10 but if you do have higher strength level and attack levels you may want to look around 40-50.
Chickens will provide quick exp. Although you may want to go to a good world with not many players in it. Like minigame worlds and worlds not many people are on. Alough if you do see a world on the list with like 500 players i would suggest not to go because other players would see that too and say not many people would be there. You would also want to be as quick as you can. There are 5 chickens at freds farm and 8 in the lumbridge. Although you think it's good to go lumbridge remember how many people go there?

Monster/NPC name: Chicken(s)
Location: Lumbridge or falador
How to get there: Teleport to lumbridge, Go east and go past the bridge and go straight up north. If you want to go falador cabbage teleport and your at the farm house. Go around into the farm house and go west. You will find some chickens
How much exp each kills: 16 exp
Approx time: 6 minutes
Max hit: 15, rarely even hits though.
Life points: 30

-------------------

10-20, Now onto COWS. Cows for low levels are pretty hard at times but good exp if you have higher levels. If you don't have a strength level over 25 you may want to keep getting your strength or attack levels up. For cows for low levels you will make some money by the cowhide but if you want to power train it don't pick them up and kill them as quick as possible. It doesn't matter what world you’re in because everyone that's there aren't really training but are hanging around for no reason (Unless a pure of course)

Monster/NPC name: Cows,
Location: 2 Lumbridge spots
How to get there: (Spot 1) Teleport to lumbridge, Go east, go up the bridge and go straight up north until you reach your destination. (Spot 2) teleport to Lumbridge and keep following the path north. When you reach the cabbages go a little bit west until you reach a path going north. Go up that path and you will reach a place with cows.
How much exp each kill: 43 exp
Approx time: 10 and a half minutes
Max hit: 15
Life points: 107

-------------

20-40, Start killing GOBLINS after this. Goblins are pretty much easier or the same then cows. They are a good power training Creatures if you have a high strength or attack level. The obvious place they are killed is in lumbridge but they are spread out everywhere and there aren’t as many there. Go to goblin village and kill them there. Go to the 5th to last lowest world around and camp goblins to 40. It’s good to power train so go as quick as possible. The life points are all different because there are different leveled goblins.

Monster/NPC name: Goblins
Location: Goblin village
How to get there: Teleport to falador, Follow the path north and it will lead you there.
How much exp each kill: 28 exp
Approx time: 22 - 44 minutes
Max hit: 16
Life points: 30, 50 and 67

--------------

40-50, HILL GIANTS is next! The best place to train is at Hill Giants down at the Edgeville Dungeon. Don’t go back and forth to the hill giants for inventory’s because it takes some time to get there and is very painful. Although the bones and limpwurt roots cost quite a bit it’s better to be quick and train. To get to edgeville dungeon you will need a brass key. Take your brass key and go just before the G.E. Then go west until you reach a small room. Use your key on the door and go down the ladder. You will then be in a room filled with hill giants and exedra. You will want to bring food but not food that’s worth a lot. Even if you want go to world 2 and ask for food (Salmon, Trout) at barbarian village as players give it away. It is suggested to go to a member’s world as practically all free worlds are packed and you hardly ever get kills. This would also take a long time.

Monster/NPC name: Hill giant
Location: Edgeville dungeon
How to get there: Go to the G.E, Take your brass key and go just before the G.E (south entrance). Then go west until you reach a small room. Use your key on the door and go down the ladder. You will then be in a room filled with hill giants and exedra.
How much exp each kill: 186
Approx time: 1 hour and 39 minutes
Max hit: 44
Life points: 350 hp

--------------
50-65, ZOMBIES! Zombies are found in various places but the best would be the stronghold of security (Floor 2). Zombies are quick to kill and good exp. It is good money and it is ok to pick up the stuff. Remember though keep picking up only the herbs that are worth more then 500gp. Also pick up noted or stackable items. Bank trips are ok as you will need food too. For food go to barbarian village and fish salmon and trout for yourself. Also make a fire and cook it. If you don’t won’t to drop all your food for herbs and then realise your out of food you better just play it cool and leave them.

Monster/NPC name: Zombies
Location: Stronghold of security (Floor 2)
How to get there: Go to the barbarian village, Go to the mining rocks and climb down the climbable rock. If you have completed it go to the portal and teleport. You will be now on floor 2. Search for the zombies through floor 2 as there are multiple spots.
How much exp each kill: 160
Approx time: (Level 30) 2 hours 4 minutes
Max hit: unknown
Life points: 300 hp

--------------

65-80, OGRES! These are the level 53 ogres east of castle wars. It is ok exp but better then everything else. They are low levels but good to kill. To get there get a Ring of Dueling and teleport to castle wars. Walk past the bridge and keep going east. You will then come along some level 53 ogres. They drop big bones so if you want to pick them up and bury them. You may bank them if you want as it’s only like a minute to get back and forth. *NOTE* Bring some better food this time and be aware that you will need to do bank trips.

Monster/NPC name: Ogre (Level 53)
Location: East of castle wars
How to get there: get a Ring of Dueling and teleport to castle wars. Walk past the bridge and keep going east. You will then come along some level 53 ogres.
How much exp each kill: 320
Approx time: (Level 30) 14 hour 41 minutes
Max hit: 73
Life points: 600 hp

--------------

80-99, BANDITS! Now this is the easy part where you can sit back and relax! First of all get full guthans and something that’s zamorakian or saradomin that’s wieldable. This is for relaxing and letting Runescape do it’s thing. It’s not botting and it’s completely safe and Jagex has no rights to do anything about it. Now to go to the bandits by taking the carpet ride outside shanty pass. It will cost some money so bring around 500 coins just in case. The carpet ride only costs 200gp or so. Now ask to go bedabin camp. After you ride on the carpet there go south straight down until you reach bandit camp. Find a spot to camp at and where your saradomin/zamarokian armour piece and you will see the bandits will start attacking you and saying things. No worry =D if you have a high defence level and guthans no way you can go wrong. *WARNING* You will also have a chance of dying if you don’t check every few hours. Also if you see your guthans goes under 20% you have been warned to leave and get it repaired as you will do after some time if uncharged.

Monster/NPC name: Bandit
Location: bandit camp
How to get there: Go shanty pass and take the carpet ride to bedabin camp. Then go straight down south until you reach bandit camp *NOTE* *bring some money for the carpet ride and shanty pass*
How much exp each kill: 346
Approx time: (Level 30) 517 hours
Max hit: 73
Life points: 650 hp

---------------------------------------------------------
As you can see we have came to an end in this guide! I hope it helped you as it spent me a long time making this guide. Probably my 4th biggest.

By now it has taken you approximently to get 99 defence:
31’516 minutes
525 hours
21 days

Sweet guide Smile

I don't understand why you do Goblins AFTER Cows, seeing as how Cows are stronger, with 1 Attack, Defence and Strength, 8 Constitution, compared to 1 Attack, Defence and Strength and 5 Constitution.

Hmmm, Thanks for that but i might not change it because goblins at goblin village are good power training creatures. Cows are more for big exp slow killing.
