~Deluxe Guide to F2P Moneymaking~
Money. It is the driving force of humanity, both in real life and in RuneScape. We constantly seek more money so that we may buy that big, expensive weapon before our friend does, or train that skill to 99. To do so effectively, you need to know the best moneymaking methods out there. Why make 200k an hour when you could make 500k? The purpose of this guide is to let you know of a wide variety of very effective moneymaking methods, so that you can waste less time doing poor methods and searching for better ones.
F2P Low Level Method #1 – Mining Rune Essence
Requirements: Completion of Rune Mysteries, a pickaxe, and a decent Mining level.
Begin in Varrock East bank with only your equipped (if possible) pickaxe. Run south to the Runes Shop, and get Aubury to teleport you to the Rune Essence mine. Mine 28 Rune Essence, then use the portal to exit the mine. Run back up to Varrock East bank, and deposit the Rune Essence. Repeat.
GP per hour: 90K
F2P Low Level Method #2 – Chopping Oak Trees
Requirements: A hatchet, and at least 15 Woodcutting.
Begin at the Grand Exchange with only your equipped (if possible) hatchet. Run East to Varrock Palace, and then South until you see 3 Oak Trees. Cut 28 Oak Logs, then run back to the Grand Exchange and deposit the Oak Logs. Repeat.
GP per hour: 120K
F2P Low Level Method #3 – Mining Iron Ore
Requirements: A pickaxe, and at least 15 Mining.
Begin at Falador East bank with only your equipped (if possible) pickaxe. Run East, past the party room, to a small building with a stair case going down. Go down the staircase. Run West to a group of 3 Iron Ore rocks. Mine 28 Iron Ore, then run back to Falador East bank and deposit the Iron Ore. Repeat.
GP per hour: 110K
F2P Low Level Method #4 – Making Gold Rings
Requirements: 5 Crafting, a Ring Mould, and lots of Gold Bars.
Begin at Al Kharid bank with your Ring Mould and 27 Gold Bars in your inventory. Run North to the furnace, and turn your 27 Gold Bars into Gold Rings. Run back to the bank and deposit the Gold Rings, then take out 27 more Gold Bars. Repeat.

F2P Low Level Method #5 – Making Pie Shells
Requirements: Lots of Pie Dishes and Pastry Dough
Begin in any bank with 14 Pie Dishes and 14 Pastry Dough in your inventory. Use a Pie Dish with a Pastry Dough, and make 14 Pie Shells. Deposit the Pie Shells, and withdraw 14 new Pie Dishes and Pastry Dough. Repeat.
GP per hour: 900K
F2P Low Level Method #6 – Air Runes Assist
Requirements: Completion of Rune Mysteries, an Air Tiara and lots of Rune Essence.
Begin in Falador East Bank with 28 Rune Essence in your inventory and an Air Tiara equipped in World 16. Run South to the Air Altar, and enter. Receive assistance from somebody offering 9 or 10x Air Runes assistance. Craft your Rune Essence into between 252 and 280 Air Runes. Run North to Falador East Bank and deposit the Air Runes. Withdraw 28 Rune Essence. Repeat.
GP per hour: 140K
F2P Low Level Method #7 – Making Soft Clay
Requirements: lots of Clay and Vials of Water.
Begin in any Bank with 14 Vials of Water and 14 Clay. Use a Vial of Water with Clay and make 14 Soft Clay. Deposit the Soft Clay, withdraw 14 more Vials of Water and 14 more Clay. Repeat.
GP per hour: 90K
F2P Low Level Method #8 – Zamorak Wines
Requirements: 33 Magic (37 recommended), a Staff of Air, lots of Law Runes and Water Runes (if 37 Magic).
Begin in Falador West Bank with your Staff of Air equipped, Law Runes in your inventory and Water Runes if you have 37 Magic. Run North to the Chaos Temple just South of the Wilderness. Cast Telekinetic Grab on the Wine of Zamorak, wait for it to respawn, then repeat. When your inventory is full, run/teleport to Falador and deposit the Wines. Repeat.
GP per hour: 130K
F2P Low Level Method #9 – Killing Chickens
Requirements: A weapon is recommended.
Begin at any Chicken respawn location with your weapon equipped and an empty inventory. There are two in Lumbridge, one South of Falador and one in the Champions’ Guild. Kill Chickens and take their feathers. Repeat.
GP per hour: 60K
F2P Low Level Method #10 – Killing Cows
Requirements: Some coins (if Prince Ali Rescue not completed), and a weapon and armour is recommended
Begin at the Cow paddock in Lumbridge with weapons and armour equipped, and your Coins in your inventory. Kill 9 Cows, and collect the Cowhide, Bones and Raw Meat. Run South-East into Al Kharid and deposit all of the drops in the Al Kharid bank. Run back up to the Cow paddock. Repeat.
GP per hour: 70K
F2P Low Level Method #11 – Shearing Sheep
Requirements: Shears.
Begin at the Sheep paddock in Lumbridge with only your Shears in your inventory. Shear 27 white Sheep, then run South to Lumbridge castle, go upstairs, and deposit the Wool (Do not spin it!). Run back to the Sheep paddock. Repeat.
Wool per hour: 150K
F2P Low Level Method #12 – Making Flour
Requirements: Lots of Pots and Wheat, a Chef’s Hat and 32 Cooking.
Start at the Grand Exchange, with 14 Pots in your inventory and Chef’s Hat equipped. Run South to the Chef’s Guild, and go up to the top level. Place some Wheat in the Hop, and pull the Lever. Do this 14 times, before going back downstairs. Empty the Flour Bin, and run back to the Grand Exchange. Deposit the Pots of Flour, and withdraw 14 more Pots. Repeat.
GP per hour: 85K
F2P Low Level Methods #13 – Smelting Steel Bars
Requirements: 30 Smithing, lots of Iron Ore and twice as much Coal.
Start in Al Kharid bank, with any item, 9 Iron Ore and 18 Coal in your inventory. Run North to the Furnace, and smelt 9 Steel Bars. Run back to the bank and deposit the bars. Withdraw 9 new Iron Ore and 18 Coal, and repeat.
GP per hour: 150K
